Mweya peninsular is located in Queen Elizabeth national park in the Kasese district, South Western part of Uganda. Queen Elizabeth is known to be the most visited destination among Uganda’s national parks. This is approximately 402 kilometers by road from Kampala’s capital city. Mweya peninsular is located on the North Eastern shores of Lake Edward, the point where the Kazinga channel joins the lake.
