4 Days Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Forest Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated in the southwestern part of the country. Bwindi Forest is the home of the Mountain gorillas that are considered by UNESCO as one of few survivors of the ice age period. The forest is very thick with talk trees that form a very dense canopy at the top.

The 4 Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda Tour Guide this morning will pick you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and the drive you to the park. Enjoy your lunch enroute and carry on passing the undulating hills of Kisoro. Arrive late in the evening and enjoy your dinner and overnight at: Gorilla Resort camp/ Bwindi Veiw Lodge / lake Kintandara camp/Buhoma community Bandas.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

After a morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing with your tracking gear and packed lunch. You are required to put on long trousers because there are stinging nestles in the forest. You will later be briefed by the guide who will lead you into the forest to start searching for the huge apes.

The time you take to find these apes is unpredictable and but you will be entertained by other apes like baboons, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked manga-bey, black and white colobus monkeys and so many others.

After tracking, our 4 Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda Tour guide will drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, via Maramagambo Forest and Ishasha sector. On the road to Ishasha you have high chances of seeing antelopes like the waterbucks and kobs, elephants, and buffalo. Once you get there you may rest at the exquisite Lodge where you will dine and sleep.

Day 3 – Queen Elizabeth Game drive and Boat cruise

Enjoy an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park. Some of the animals you will see include Cape buffalo, elephants, topis, kobs, warthogs, water bucks, hyenas, leopards, as well as lions and many birds. A 2-hour boat cruise from Kazinga channel to Lake Edward is taken after lunch.

The sail offers an opportunity to see the highest concentration of water submerged hippos at close range, surrounded by over 550 species of migrant and resident birds and crocodiles drinking and resting on the shores. The sail provides an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Then you will have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth to Kampala

This morning you will to return to Kampala to catch up with your flight back home.

The journey to Kampala will begin after breakfast. On arrival, if interested, you may have the famous Kampala tour in the evening. You can spend the night at the nearest lodge/ hotel to the airport for a quick and jam free airport transfer at your chosen time.
