Detailed 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari
Day 1: City tour
At Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our company representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Depending on your arrival time, you will go on a city tour to visit places such as the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Mausoleum, Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine, and the Baha’i Temple. Dinner and overnight at the hotel are optional.
Day 2 of 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Lake Mburo National Park
Drive to Lake Mburo for a game drive on the Lake Shore Trail through the Kigambara Loop, which offers guided fun walks. You will see animals like eels, zebras, and buffalo. You will have lunch before taking a boat on Lake Mburo to see Papyrus Gonolek, Carruther’s Cisticolas, Brown-faced Ducks, the remarkable White-winged Tit, and nudibranchs.

Day 3 of 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Impenetrable Forest Bwindi.
After breakfast, head west along the mystical Rwenzori Mountains, past Maramagambo and Ishasha, to Bwindi Park. Keep an eye out for wildlife in the Ishasha area and expect to see buffalo, antelope, elephants, Ugandan kobo, and more. You will arrive in the late afternoon to relax in the forest and explore.

Day 4 of 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
This morning you will head to the park headquarters to receive a briefing and start tracking the gorillas. Bwindi is a stunning forest with dramatic dense forests and lush landscapes with many animal trails passing through and letting visitors in.
Keep an eye out for rare animals such as golden monkeys, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, antelopes, black ducks, and giant wild boars as you drive through Bwindi. Gorilla trekking is exhausting, but watching and spending time with mountain gorillas is an extraordinary and inspiring experience. They were shy and calm – an unforgettable experience.

Day 5 of 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Transfer Volcano Rwanda Gorilla Park
Breakfast, via Kisoro to Rwanda, transit to Ruhenger.

Day 6 of 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park (PNV)
In the morning you will have a briefing at the Pac de Volcano Park headquarters in Ruhengeri. You will then start your gorilla trek at 9:00 am. How long you track these peaceful monkeys will depend on their movements. After chasing these humble giants, drive to hotel/hotel for dinner and overnight (BLD).

Day 7 of 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla Safari: Kigali Airport
After breakfast proceeds to Kigali city for an early morning city tour of Kigali. Visit the city’s attractions, including the Gisozi Genocide Memorial. It is a big place and takes a lot of time to complete almost 4 hours and then some craft shops in town. Refresh and you will be transferred to Kigali airport to catch your flight.
