5 Days Beauty of Zanzibar Beach Relaxation Tour

This 5 Days Beauty of Zanzibar Beach Relaxation Tour takes us where our minds will be free and get a chance to visit the old city of Stone Town known as ‘Mji Mkongwe’. It was once a trade center as well as a flourishing center of the spice trade and the slave trade in the 19th century. You will also visit the northern coast of Zanzibar also known as Nungwi which was traditionally a fishing village and dhow-building center, but is now a popular tourist destination.

Detailed 5 Days Beauty of Zanzibar Beach Relaxation Tour

Day 1: Arrival at Zanzibar Airport to Stone Town

After arrival at the airport in Zanzibar, you will be picked up by private transport to your hotel in Stone Town.

Located on a promontory jutting out from the western side of Unguja Island into the Indian Ocean. The Stone Town of Zanzibar is an outstanding example of a Swahili trading town. This type of town developed on the coast of East Africa, further expanded under Arab, Indian, and European influences. However, it retained its indigenous elements, to form an urban cultural unit unique to this region.

The Stone Town of Zanzibar retains its urban fabric and townscape virtually intact and contains many fine buildings that reflect its particular culture. This has brought together and homogenized disparate elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe for more than a millennium. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your hotel in Stone Town.

Zanzibar Stone Town

Zanzibar Stone Town

After breakfast, you will head straight to the city of Stone Town before traveling to the northern coast of Zanzibar known as Nungwi. It has the kind of white coral sand that seems to glow even after nightfall.

For its entire bustle, it can still feel secluded. Nungwi’s expansive coastline is wide open for swimming and snorkeling in some of Africa’s most pristine, reef-rich waters. It’s one of the rare Zanzibari beaches untroubled by severe undulations of high and low tides, making it perfect for all-day water activities.

Deep-sea fishing near Nungwi is top-notch, with opportunities to catch kingfish, Dorado, yellowfin tuna and enormous striped marlin from the Indian Ocean. There are plenty of activities on offer like walking tours, sunset cruises, diving excursions and parasailing to name a few. All it really takes is a sunset sighting of traditional dhow boats bobbing in the sea to be captured by this enchanting African beach. You will spend 3 nights in this incredible place.
