Day 1: Arrive/Entebbe airport – meet greet – transfer to the hotel, briefing, and overnight

Day 2: Entebbe – transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park/option for a charter flight-price not included

On this day, you will set off from Kampala at 7 am immediately after your breakfast for the 8 hours journey. Drive to the Southwestern part of Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This 4 Days Bwindi Uganda Gorilla Tour journey will be incredible as you will be seeing various things on the way such as banana and coffee plantations, long-horned cattle, and rolling hills.

You will have a stop in Mbarara town after which you will embark on the road through the terraced Kigezi highlands, later arrive at Bwindi impenetrable National Park which hosts a rich ecosystem of different living organisms which you will be viewing the next day. (Meal Plan on F/B)

Day 3: Bwindi Forest National Park – Gorilla trekking – Community/experience

Start your day with a tasty breakfast and make sure you carry packed lunch from the lodge, also other materials you might need like cameras, sturdy shoes, drinking water, sunglasses, rain jackets, and a pair of long trousers. Your 4 Days Bwindi Uganda Gorilla Tour guide will take you to the information center for a briefing where you will meet with other trekkers before you start trekking at 8:00 am.

After the briefing, enter the mighty Bwindi Forest as led by the park rangers, who will take you to where the Gorillas can be located at that time. The activity takes around 2 to 8 hours, this is because these gentle giants migrate and cannot be stationed in one place, and Gorillas move based on the availability of food and water. Also, remember that no skill is needed to track gorillas though one needs to be fit enough at least.

There is nothing as astonishing and thrilling as watching the silverbacks guard their bases, watch the females feed young ones, play, and grumble at each other among other things, you will take enough photos. Return to the lodge after, in the evening if time is available, you could also have a walk in the Batwa community and see how they live.

Only 1 hour is permitted for you to view the Gorillas. Trekking takes about 1 hour to 8 hours based on the location of these gentle giants. After the trek, in the evening you could go for a guided nature walk or a community visit, return to the lodge for dinner, and overnight. Gorilla tracking fee USD $800.00 Net,

Have an early breakfast, Check-out leaving the “Switzerland of Uganda” behind, and start your 4 Days Bwindi Uganda Gorilla Tour journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through.

Have lunch in Mbarara, another stop will be at Mbambire drum makers point. After buying some of these drums, continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The guide will drop you off at the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home. (Meal Plan on B/L).
